River Sections

All river sections have raised banks which are flocked and detailed to blend into the appropriate mat type. The water effect is created by a number of coloured coats to give a realistic water effect. Cross sections vary for example 2-3 inch but the ends are cut to 2 inch so that each end joins correctly. Standared river width :
1 -1.5 inch.    2.5 - 4cm.
2 - 3 inch.     5    - 8cm
3 - 4 inch      8   - 10cm
4 - 6 inch      8     - 15cm
Note River width is the stretch of water and does not include the riverbank.

The length of river is not the water course length. This means if you had a 6 ft mat and you wanted to ensure that the river would cover the full 6 ft then you only have to order 6 ft, and not try and take into account all the bends which would be more like 8 ft.
